When the weather changed, cold, sinus and congestion hits schools and work places in no time!!  Many little ones come home with sniffles and many has experienced episodes of cold / flu like symptoms.

During winter season, a salt steam and herbal balms are must... and they are ALWAYS in stock!  Here are the two most important items we keep close:
Yarrow & Eucalyptus Breathe Better Balm
Cold & Sniffles Congestion Relief Salt

The Cold & Sniffles Congestion Relief Salt is a FACIAL SALT STEAM blend that utilized the antibacterial power of dead sea salt, epsom salt, and Himalayan pink salt, as well as combination of dry herbs and essential oils that sooth and relieve upper respiratory congestion.  The inhalation of warm salt, arometic steam helps to open the upper respiratory passage that helps you breathe easier.

Additionally, after the salt steam, we highly recommend to use Yarrow & Eucalyptus Breathe Better Balm.  This is a herbal balm made with infused dry yarrow herb in olive oil.  Along with essential oils, the balm is applied at the front of chest as well as on the back.  There are no petroleum oils or anything synthetic in this formula.

HOW TO USE FACIAL SALT STEAM:
To use as facial steam ( highly recommended for symptoms of congestion ): Scoop 1-2 table spoon of salt mixture to a facial steam bowl that is heat-proof, add hot / boiling water to the bowl that covers the mixture. I usually add at least 1/2 to 3/4 of the bowl of hot water. Cover this mixture and steep for 1-2 minutes before use.

When you use as a facial steam to help congestion, place the hot mixture on a flat surface where you can comfortably sit and lean your face over the bowl. I usually use my desk or dinning table for facial steam. Let the warm steam hovers your face for 10-15 minutes (Hold you face couple inches away from the bowl. It will also be helpful to use a towel or large fabric cover your head to immerse the steam around your face).

For younger children (age 2 and up), we recommend to use as part of bath rather than hot facial steamy. Adults supervisions need it during the progress.
