Organic Coconut Oil Laundry Bar and Stain Removal Stick
My little boy has very sensitive skin and we have always on the hunt of better, natural laundry detergent that has the super cleansing power.
This bar of super cleaning power is made with 100% organic coconut oil, organic arrowroot starch, essential oils ( or none for unscented option ), H2O, and sodium hydroxide. It keeps the my large load of laundry clean and fresh, makes my little man's skin happy, and best of all, the recipe we use saves money on buying detergent!!
HOW TO USE
Base ingredients:
If this your first time using bar soap as laundry soap, begin with 1 Bar Laundry Soap ( shred ) : 1 Cup Borax : 1 Cup Washing Soda : 1 Cup Baking Soda.
P.S. 1 bar of soap is approx. 3.5-3.7 oz.
You can shred this bar of soap easily with a cheese shredder. Borax and Washing Soda can be found in local grocery store. I have been getting them from Walmart and Target since they are so close by me.
You can also add essential oils to the final laundry mix. The most popular scents are lavender, orange, lemon, mint, lemongrass.
Consider adding a scoop of Oxi Clean IF you live in the area with hard water supply.
2-3 Table spoon for regular load. 4 Table spoon for larger load.
**Add the laundry powder to the clothing directly. Not through the liquid detergent tray!!!!!
STAIN STICK
Additionally, you may use this bar of soap as stain stick to remove tough stain on fabric. Just lightly wet the end of the soap ( stain stick ), rub against the stain spot until a light soap coating / lather, than wash off or in the laundry it goes!!
Try it on pasta sauce, wine, and soy sauce stains. All natural coconut oil stain stick just works much better!
Absolutely no perfume, fragrances, chemical or funny stuff :-)
