All Natural Organic Coconut Oil Laundry Bar and Stain Removal Stick
**The Ultimate Laundry Solution for Sensitive Skin**
Finding the right laundry detergent can be a challenge, especially when you have a little one with sensitive skin. We’ve discovered a natural laundry detergent that not only cleans effectively but also keeps my child’s skin happy.
This powerful laundry bar is crafted with 100% organic coconut oil, organic arrowroot starch, essential oils (or you can choose an unscented option), H2O, and sodium hydroxide. It handles large loads effortlessly while being gentle on sensitive skin. Plus, the cost-effective recipe means you can save money on store-bought detergents!
**How to Use This Laundry Bar:**
1. If you are new to using bar soap for laundry, start with a simple ratio: 1:1:1:1. This means one part of shredded laundry soap, one part Borax, one part washing soda, and one part salt. Each bar weighs approximately 3.5 oz.
2. You can finely shred this bar using a cheese grater, making it easy to mix with the other ingredients. Both Borax and washing soda are readily available at your local grocery store. You can opt for either table salt or sea salt.
3. If you’d like to add a pleasant aroma to your laundry, consider including essential oils in the mix. Some popular options are lavender, orange, lemon, mint, and lemongrass.
**Bonus Use: Stain Stick**
This versatile laundry bar can also double as a stain stick for treating tough stains. Just wet the end of the soap slightly and rub it against the stained area until a light lather forms. Then, you can either rinse it off or toss it in the laundry!
With this natural laundry detergent, you can confidently tackle laundry tasks knowing that your child’s sensitive skin is protected, while also enjoying the benefits of a budget-friendly detergent solution.
P.S. **Add the laundry powder to the clothing directly. Not through the liquid detergent tray!!!!!
Each wash machine is a bit different, you can start off with 1/4 cup powder to normal wash first.
** For hard water areas, add 1/2 white vinegar at pre wash.
